Position Summary
At Bentley Systems, we empower the next generation of infrastructure professionals to build a better quality of life for all. We offer free access to our software and provide learning experiences that help students develop and demonstrate career-ready skills. With the recent launch of our Education Hub, we’re seeking a Learning Content Manager to bring our education strategy to life. This role offers a unique chance to build a high-impact learning content engine from the ground up – owning content strategy execution and shaping engaging experiences for a global audience.
Is this role for you?
You are passionate about designing digital learning solutions that enhance – not just replicate – traditional resources. You confidently manage end-to-end content development, balancing innovative “how might we” thinking with practical constraints. You lead co-creation models, collaborating with students, educators, and industry partners to create relevant, high-quality content. You excel at bridging diverse stakeholder perspectives, including technical and non-technical teams, and navigating global regulatory and academic landscapes. You’ve managed agile content portfolios, building scalable processes for continuous improvement and version control. You’re action-oriented, communicate proactively, collaborate effectively, and aren’t afraid to challenge ideas while supporting collective decisions for the benefit of users.
Responsibilities
- Own the full content lifecycle – translating strategy into roadmaps, managing multiple projects, coordinating consultant writers, editors, and creative partners.
- Serve as primary contact for external academic SMEs and internal experts.
- 40% Content Quality & Creation: Develop storyboards and edit assets to set quality standards. Apply pedagogical principles to curriculum design, course mapping, and assessment creation. Lead review cycles to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand and learning goals. Collaborate with SMEs to translate complex knowledge into clear, engaging learning content that bridges skills gaps in infrastructure roles. Create scalable, repeatable processes, guides, and templates to empower the wider team to contribute efficiently and consistently.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years in learning design, curriculum development, or a related role in higher education or EdTech.
- Proven success managing full content development lifecycles – from ideation and research to design, production, and continuous improvement.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating career-focused, interactive, project-based learning programs, ideally co-created with academic and industry partners.
- Expertise in transforming traditional content into innovative formats, including project-based and AI-enabled learning.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external consultants.
- Proficiency in collaboration and authoring tools (e.g., Miro, Articulate 360, H5P, Genially), LMS platforms (Canvas, Docebo, Moodle), and design/AI tools (Figma, Canva, OpenAI).
- Experience designing or adapting content for diverse global markets, understanding regional educational, regulatory, and cultural differences.
- Exceptional English communication skills, adept at conveying nuance across global, cross-cultural audiences.
- Experience with safeguarded user groups or regulated environments is a plus.
- Agile or product-led environment experience preferred.
An exciting career as an integral part of a world-leading software company providing solutions for architecture, engineering, and construction. An attractive salary and benefits package. A commitment to inclusion, belonging, and colleague well-being through global initiatives and resource groups. A company committed to making a real difference by advancing the world’s infrastructure for a better quality of life, where your contributions help build a more sustainable, connected, and resilient world.
