Opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in low-volume manufacturing to join a growing Aerospace business.
Role:
- To develop, document and optimise new and existing designs for 3rd Party manufacture in a fast-paced, fail-fast environment.
- Working closely with the Design Engineering team to work towards a right-first-time mentality.
- Using Additive and Subtractive Manufacturing methods.
- Working with metal, plastics and composites.
Experience:
- Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience.
- Exposure to metal, plastics and composites manufacturing, and ideally, 3D printing.
- A fast-thinking, can-do attitude to problem-solving.
- An open mind to new ways of working and technology.
- Experience in BS8888 / Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) would be beneficial.
