Opportunity for an experienced and driven Avionics / Systems Engineer to join an ambitious aerospace company specialising in UAVs and Autonomous Systems as their Head of Avionics.
Role:
- Leading the Avionics / Control Systems Engineering team, and the lifecycle of design from concept to delivery.
- Manage the integration of new architectural system designs into existing systems/sub-systems.
- Delivery of navigation, autopilot, sensors and safety systems.
- Experience and working knowledge of PID Controllers, C++, ArduPilot, PX4, RS232 and RS485.
- Evaluation and integration of new emerging technologies.
Person:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and agile environment.
- Excellent communication and management skills.
- Commitment to innovation, and passionate about technology.
- Ideally, a proven background with UAVs, although other autonomous vehicle experience will be considered.
