Purpose of the Role

Join the Purchasing team as a Supplier Manager, where you’ll lead strategic supplier management initiatives and support the delivery of world-class vehicles. You’ll play a pivotal role in Bentley’s transformation, driving supplier performance to help us meet our Beyond100+ strategy goals.

Reporting into the Senior Supplier Manager, your main responsibilities include:

  • Leading the project management of key supplier management activities
  • Driving quality, delivery, and lead-time improvements through structured problem solving
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, logistics, and quality teams
  • Supporting functional and senior management decision making through clear reporting and insight
  • Proactively shaping and contributing to the supplier management strategy
  • Managing supplier relationships with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Providing business-critical KPI reporting to various stakeholders

Our Purchasing Supplier Management team sits at the heart of Bentley’s operations, ensuring our suppliers are aligned with the business’s evolving priorities. We work collaboratively across departments to manage supplier performance and support Bentley’s ambitious Beyond100+ goals. With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and delivery, our team plays a key role in enabling Bentley’s transition toward electrification and sustainability. About You – Skills And Experience

  • Experience in project planning, management, and delivery
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Automotive industry experience (desirable)
  • German language skills (desirable)
