Purpose of the Role

Join the Product Strategy & Delivery team as a Project Leader, where you'll be responsible for leading multiple high-priority projects that are essential to Bentley & Mulliner's ongoing success and future growth plans. This position requires extensive cross-functional collaboration and exceptional project leadership to ensure the successful delivery of luxury vehicle projects as part of Mulliner's growth plans.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery - define scope, objectives, and success criteria; build cross-functional alignment; and lead execution from concept to launch.
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration - act as the central interface between Product Line, Mulliner, Engineering, Design, Commercial, and other functions.
  • Drive product strategy - evaluate future product and service opportunities in line with Mulliner's bespoke portfolio and Bentley's Beyond100+ sustainability vision.
  • Ensure commercial and technical feasibility - validate product specifications, business case viability, and delivery routes.
  • Implement best practice - champion lean methodologies, continuous improvement, and efficient governance for bespoke project execution.
  • Report and influence - provide strategic project insights to senior stakeholders, including budget, timeline, and quality metrics.

About The Team

The Product Strategy and Delivery team is responsible for defining Bentley's future product portfolio in line with our Beyond100+ strategy. Mulliner plays a pivotal role within Bentley, offering exclusive luxury products, services and experiences, delivered through revenue streams of Coachbuilt, Classic, Features & Options, Collections & Co-Creations, each uniquely representing the pinnacle of bespoke automotive craftsmanship.

Working as part of the team offers a unique opportunity to shape highly bespoke and personalised products through collaboration with all business functions, including design, engineering, commercial, finance, purchasing & operations.

Skills And Experience

  • We are looking for a strategic, commercially aware, and delivery-focused individual with a passion for high-end automotive innovation and customer-focused product leadership.
  • Experience in automotive product development, ideally within a luxury or bespoke environment.
  • A degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is desirable; however, equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • Deep knowledge of vehicle design, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven success in leading complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in resource planning and budget management.
  • Experience working within the VW Group or luxury automotive brands (advantageous).
  • Excellent stakeholder and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement frameworks.
