As one of our Bentley apprentices, you will combine practical experience with classroom learning to achieve the degree âSupply Chain Leadership Professionalâ. You will play a significant part in our business as we continue on this exciting journey to deliver extraordinary customer journeys.
Based out of our state-of-the-art headquarters in Crewe, you will:
- Work with experts who will support your professional and personal development

- Spend 20% of your time learning with an external training provider and 80% of your time gaining hands-on experience

About the role
Working within âInhouse Logistics and Contractsâ you will be alongside a team dedicated to improvement of our process and people playing a pivotal role in the future of Logistics while ensuring continuity of supply day to day. As an apprentice you would be actively involved within the team and be expected to plan and deliver projects that are part of our strategy with the required level of support. Projects are varied from in-bound and in-house logistics plus commercial and sustainability projects, thus providing a unique opportunity to be involved in innovation and implementation of latest technologies in a real environment.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Implement digitalisation improvements with project ownership
- Deliver cost savings to Logistics contracts
- Optimisation of material flows
- Support control tower operations and process improvement
- Attendance and engagement in Sustainability Forum
About the Department
The function âInhouse Logistics and Contractsâ is part of the Manufacturing organisation at Bentley Motors. We are responsible for planning and operation of large parts of the logistics activities including implementing new processes and technologies, control of all logistics contracts and budgets, planning material flow for current and future materials and running the key interfaces to ensure material delivery to the production line.
What We Are Looking For
Training Provider Entry Requirements Leeds Trinity University:
- Must hold a level 2 qualification in English Language and Maths Grade 4/C or above
- Provide evidence of the highest achieved qualifications
- Be employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week in a relevant role and have the support of their employer
- Live and have the right to work in England

The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate taking ownership alongside a strong attention to detail and a commitment to right first time.
- Have 3 A levels or equivalent.
- Be proactive and will be able to evidence making improvements, driving own development and sharing knowledge.
- Be adaptable and resilient with the skill to problem solve.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt your style to the audience.
- Be customer focused with a commercial approach.
