Purpose of the Role
Join our Electrical Architecture Networks team as an Engineer β Networks, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the intelligent vehicle networks that will power Bentley's next generation of ultra-luxury vehicles. Collaborating closely with the VW Group, you will help define and develop cutting-edge network systems that enable the technology of tomorrow. In this role, you'll also take ownership of creating innovative electrical network concepts and delivering solutions that support the advanced functions and features of future Bentley products.
Main Responsibilities
- Leading cross-functional working groups, presenting results internally and in Volkswagen Group meetings
- Providing guidance to relevant stakeholders to include key knowledge of the vehicle networks for all business areas
- Vehicle network design and sign off including ECU hardware requirements
- Understanding the vehicle systems and their interactions
- Defining solutions for data acquisition from the vehicle networks
- Providing problem analysis competence for network related issues
- Ability to communicate at all levels across the company in various forums

This is the team behind the entire electrical and electronic foundation of our vehicles from wiring and mechanical integration to embedded computers, data networks, and electronic architecture. We also develop several of the features that customers interact with every day. About you β Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will be an Engineer within Transportation (land/sea/air) or the automotive Industry, with proven ability to develop electrical network concepts and solutions. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Vehicle network design including hardware requirements knowledge
- Vector toolset skills
- Volkswagen IT tool skills desirable
- A Degree in Electronics/Mechatronics or equivalent relevant experience
