This is a high-impact role at the intersection of automotive engineering, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance, supporting customer trust and long‑term product resilience.

  • Owning the product cybersecurity function, from concept through development, validation, and in‑service considerations.
  • Acting as the primary interface between Group functions, internal stakeholders, and external partners for product cybersecurity activities.
  • Driving product cybersecurity activities from security concept definition through development, testing, and product impact assessment.
  • Translating UNECE R155/R156, ISO/SAE 21434, GB 44495, internal policies, and vehicle programme needs into clear, prioritised product backlogs.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure appropriate cybersecurity countermeasures and design decisions are identified and implemented.
  • Tracking, maintaining, and reporting cybersecurity and CSMS performance metrics to the Functional Manager, providing clear insight into programme status, risks, compliance, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Fostering a strong culture of cybersecurity awareness and best practice across the organisation.

About the Team

Our Product Cybersecurity team leads automotive cybersecurity activities, enabling the organisation to meet its product, regulatory, and customer commitments. Through close cross‑functional collaboration, we support secure and successful delivery across vehicle programmes.

  • Strong understanding of vehicle development processes, including V-model delivery, programme gateways, and SOP readiness.
  • Ability to translate complex technical, regulatory, and security requirements into clear, prioritised, and actionable product or system requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to align engineering, programme, compliance, and supplier stakeholders around cybersecurity priorities.
