Purpose of the Role

Join Bentley\’s Acoustics team as an NVH Manager, where you\’ll play a critical role in delivering world-class vehicle Projects. This is a unique opportunity to help shape Bentley\’s Beyond100+ strategy, as we transition to a fully electric future and continue to set the benchmark for luxury and comfort.

Reporting to the Head of Vehicle Physics, you\’ll be responsible for overseeing NVH performance across major vehicle programs, with a focus on technical excellence, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration throughout the business.

We are seeking an experienced NVH/Acoustics Manager to bring deep technical expertise, exceptional leadership, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of electric luxury at Bentley.

  • Leading the delivery of NVH performance across major vehicle projects in line with Bentley\’s product and brand objectives
  • Leading and developing a team of NVH engineers to ensure high technical standards
  • Defining and owning vehicle-level NVH targets, ensuring system and component integration supports overall refinement goals
  • Planning, coordinating, and overseeing NVH testing, analysis, and validation activities throughout the development cycle
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure NVH requirements are embedded early in the design and development process
  • Supporting the transition to electric vehicle NVH standards and contributing to the evolution of Bentley\’s acoustic signature
  • Identifying technical risks and leading the resolution of complex NVH-related challenges
  • Reporting progress, risks, and performance metrics to senior leadership

About the Team
The Acoustics Team are responsible for the delivery of all NVH attributes (Aero-acoustics, Road Noise, Ride Comfort, Powertrain, Sound Quality, Squeak & Rattle, Powered Ancillaries) across the entire Bentley portfolio. The Refinement and Sound quality of Bentley products has always been our key class-leading attribute, highly sought-after and valued by our customers. As Bentley now embarks upon its Beyond100+ strategy, within a rapidly developing technology landscape, we must ensure that we maintain our competitive advantage, which is becoming more challenging than ever before as we transition from traditional internal combustion engine to electric motor propulsion.

About you – Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in NVH or acoustics engineering, ideally within the automotive sector
  • A strong track record of delivering vehicle-level NVH performance across complex development projects
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience managing and developing high-performing technical teams
  • Deep technical understanding of structure-borne and airborne noise, vibration control, and acoustic refinement
  • Familiarity with NVH development tools, testing methods, and data analysis techniques
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams and drive decisions
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, evolving
