Bentley Foodservice are a family run business, supplying chilled food to the catering trade. To facilitate company growth, we are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative. The purpose of this role is to work within the Depot Stock Team, ensuring that the internal picking operation and associated tasks of stock control are completed and in addition, all routes are fully delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Working Monday to Friday - 05:30am to 13:30pm - 40 hours per week.
- To manage and pick products.
- To load and unload delivery vehicles.
- To carry out accurate and reconciled stock count daily to minimise wastage.
- Comply with various procedures relating to quality and processes.
- Work as part of the Depot Team to ensure all customer orders are fulfilled and correct stock levels maintained.
- Ensure all product areas, outside environment / yard areas and vehicles meet the company's cleanliness standards at all times.
- To ensure all products from suppliers are stored, distributed and comply with quality system (BRC) procedures and all food hygiene regulations.
- To maintain and comply with all GDPR requirements in all duties.
- A physically demanding role where you will certainly get your steps in.
