Professional US owned meeting and event planning company seeks an Events Manager. Servicing blue chip clients in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry, you will be responsible for all facets of the planning of on-site events and meetings.
On-site meetings will be held in Europe and will involve:
- Invitation and registration process
- Oversight of travel arrangements including flights, visas and airport transfers
- All aspects of hotel arrangements; meeting space, food & beverage and audio visual equipment
- Producing speaker presentations
- Supervision of on-site travel staff
Excellent communication and organisational skills are required as they look to exceed all client expectations and seek candidates with the ability to ‘go that extra mile’. Please note: There will be an expectation to travel overseas, mainly within Europe.
Proven experience as an Events Organiser/Meeting Planner within the pharma/clinical research world is essential for this position. Degree level of education (or equivalent) with a charismatic personality always ready to deliver a five star service with a smile! Computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and databases are needed.
