Job Role:

Serve as the first point of contact for Service guests, providing professional reception and facilitating workshop operations to maximize Guest Experience and departmental profitability.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Book vehicle appointments ensuring convenience and capacity alignment.
  • Produce accurate job cards, invoices, and guest information.
  • Coordinate with parts department for availability and inform guests.
  • Greet guests, offer courtesy services, and confirm details before repairs.
  • Inform guests on job progress and obtain approval for additional work.
  • Process payments and authorizations before vehicle release.
  • Log and address guest complaints promptly.
  • Maintain reception standards and guest needs.
  • Explain work carried out and upsell additional services.
  • Keep records for guest follow-ups.
  • Comply with FCA and legislative guidelines.
  • Maintain supplies and stock organization.
  • Respond to inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Check returned parts for damage and log returns.
  • Organize stock warehouse efficiently.
  • Update parts literature and information.
  • Manage stock records and invoice processing.

Work Pattern:

Full-time, permanent position:

  • Monday – Friday (08:00 – 18:00)
  • Saturdays (08:00 – 13:00) on a 1-in-2 rota

Applicants must possess:

  • Full UK Driving Licence with no major endorsements
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar role (Customer Service, Service/Parts/Warranty Advisor)
  • Proven sales skills and customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Enthusiasm, respect, and friendliness
  • Positive attitude and passion for guest experience
  • High integrity and motivation to succeed
