Hospitality Assistant

The Bentinck Hotel is a small family run hotel, café and bar in the heart of Nottingham. Reestablished in 2013, we have become a well-loved destination for many locals and aim to provide a welcoming environment for our customers. We are looking for an individual to join our small team, the perfect opportunity for anyone with an interest in food, beverages and general hospitality. Full training will be provided, with an opportunity to gain experience in hotel coordinating. Hours between 30-40 per week. Looking for someone to join our team beginning of February 2026.

What are we looking for?

· Bar/Barista experience preferred

· Kitchen experience preferred

· Friendly and approachable

· Excellent customer service, both in person and via telephone

· Ability to take responsibility while on shift

· Professional manner

· Pro-active

Key Responsibilities

· Checking in and checking out hotel guests

· Dealing with guest enquires

· Ad-hoc hotel admin when required

· Cash handling

· Preparing/serving a variety of drinks, including but not limited to draught, cocktails, spirits, teas and coffees

· Table service for small restaurant area

· Preparing breakfasts and light bites in the kitchen

· Cleaning and closing down the bar & restaurant
