Role Responsibilities
- Provide discipline design services for assigned projects.
- Produce cost-effective, safe, and value-adding design solutions.
- Conduct surveys onshore and offshore to gather information for work execution.
- Ensure compliance with Kenera management systems, client, industry, and international standards.
- Supervise discipline personnel and ensure quality of work.
- Verify the competence of design staff and address any skill gaps.
- Estimate scope, manpower, and time for projects.
- Contribute to project planning and scheduling.
- Identify and address project concerns proactively.
- Address operational and maintenance considerations in designs.
- Raise requisitions for engineered items and services.
- Monitor project progress and report to the Lead Discipline Designer.
- Review and check discipline-specific documents.
- Represent Kenera professionally with clients and vendors.
- Understand and influence business drivers through innovative and cost-effective designs.
Experience & Skills
- Proven discipline design experience within Oil & Gas, Drilling, or Service sectors.
- Competence in discipline area, well-organized, proactive, and communicative.
- Strong interpersonal, assertiveness, and self-confidence skills.
- Team player with flexibility, calmness under pressure, and deadline orientation.
- Understanding of the Oil & Gas marketplace and market forces.
