We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented person to join our logistics team as a Transport Clerk. Key Responsibilities in Transport Administration and Logistics Support

  • Provide administrative support for day-to-day transport activities, including scheduling and route planning
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, deliveries, collections, and driver documentation
  • Assist with the preparation of daily and weekly transport reports for management
  • Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams, and external partners to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of goods
  • Monitor compliance with transport regulations and company procedures, flagging any issues promptly
  • Handle transport and driver paperwork, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and correctly filed
  • Process fuel usage, mileage logs, and defect reports
  • Assist with booking vehicle maintenance, MOTs, and servicing in collaboration with the fleet team

Skills, Experience and Competencies

  • Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or administrative role is advantageous but not essential
