We’re recruiting a Site Operations Leader to oversee and optimise our site-based logistics and transport operations, ensuring safe, efficient delivery of products and an excellent experience for our customers. This is a hands-on operational leadership role with responsibility for people, performance and continuous improvement across warehouse and transport activities.

The job:
- Lead site operations across warehouse and transportation, ensuring safe, compliant and customer-focused delivery of products into customers’ homes.
- Set operational priorities, plan resources and manage daily schedules to meet service and productivity targets.
- Develop, coach and engage a high-performing team: recruit, train, mentor and carry out performance reviews.
- Champion and enforce health, safety and regulatory compliance, embedding a positive safety culture across the site.
- Use operational metrics and system data to monitor performance, identify issues and drive continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with senior operations, supply chain and store colleagues to ensure stock accuracy, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Manage budgetary controls, labour planning and resource allocation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Who do we want?
Essential:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a senior operational, warehouse or logistics leadership role.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and engaging teams to deliver results.
- Good knowledge of transport and warehouse operations, including stock control and delivery processes.
- Confident using performance metrics and IT systems (WMS, transport management systems and Microsoft Excel).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Practical problem-solving skills, analytical mindset and ability to prioritise under pressure.
Desirable:
- IOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification.
- Experience of managing large goods home delivery operations.
- Familiarity with transport legislation and vehicle compliance standards.
- Lean or continuous improvement qualification/experience.
