We’re looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Manufacturing team in Huntingdon. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for quality, problem‑solving and continuous improvement to help drive our quality culture forward.

As our Quality Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products and processes consistently meet the highest quality standards. Working closely with production teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders, you’ll identify opportunities for improvement, investigate quality issues and implement solutions that make a real difference. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing quality standards and control systems
  • Monitoring and analysing quality performance across manufacturing operations
  • Investigating product, material and production issues using root cause analysis
  • Producing non‑conformance reports and ensuring corrective actions are completed
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects and driving best practice
  • Working closely with suppliers and internal teams to improve quality performance
  • Reviewing manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
  • Supporting the Quality Manager with the day‑to‑day running of the Quality department and mentoring Quality Technicians

You’ll already have experience working in a quality role within a manufacturing environment and enjoy getting to the root of problems to improve processes and customer outcomes. You’ll have:

  • Experience in a Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance role within manufacturing
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience carrying out root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work across all levels of the business
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English

It would be great if you also have:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Quality or Production Engineering
  • Six Sigma Green Belt qualification
  • Experience using Quality Management Systems (QMS)
