We’re looking for an experienced Owned Brand Manager to join our growing commercial team and take responsibility for the development, performance and long‑term strategy of our owned brands. You’ll be accountable for delivering profitable growth through compelling product ranges, clear brand positioning and excellent cross‑functional collaboration across design, supply chain, merchandising, marketing and retail.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the end‑to‑end brand roadmap, from concept and product development through to launch, lifecycle management and rationalisation.
  • Develop and maintain strong brand positioning and value propositions that resonate with our target customers and support channel strategies (stores, online and wholesale where applicable).
  • Translate market insights, customer feedback and commercial data into actionable product specifications, features and price architecture.
  • Work closely with design and product teams to brief, approve and iterate ranges, ensuring consistency of quality, fit for purpose specification and cost targets.
  • Partner with supply chain and buying to set order plans, margin targets and inventory strategies that balance availability and working capital.
  • Develop seasonal range plans, promotional calendars and NPD pipelines that drive sales and margin improvements.
  • Liaise with marketing and visual teams to create impactful launch packs, product copy, imagery and in‑store merchandising tools.
  • Monitor brand and SKU performance, producing regular commercial reviews and taking timely corrective action where required.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and influence senior decision making through clear commercial rationale and reporting.
  • Champion sustainability and cost‑efficiency opportunities in product design and sourcing.

What we’re dreaming of seeing:

  • We want someone who combines strong commercial acumen with creative flair and excellent project management. You’ll be data‑driven, customer‑focused and able to balance short‑term trading needs with long‑term brand building.
  • Proven experience in brand, product or range management, ideally within furniture, homewares, sleep or fast‑moving retail categories.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering profitable NPD and range performance against sales and margin targets.
  • Strong numeracy and commercial analysis skills, able to interpret sales, margin and inventory metrics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to lead cross‑functional projects.
  • Knowledge of product specification, costing and supply chain processes, with experience of working alongside offshore suppliers an advantage.
  • Organised, proactive and able to prioritise competing demands in a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, product design or a relevant discipline is desirable.

  • Health and wellbeing support including employee assistance services and cash‑back options for selected therapies.
  • Financial: Group Income Protection and pension scheme provided by Legal & General.
