We’re looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to join our team and help keep things moving behind the scenes at Bensons for Beds. From processing purchase orders and keeping on top of deliveries, to working with suppliers and our warehouse teams, you’ll play an important part in making sure the right stock gets where it needs to be, when it needs to be there. This is a great role for someone who’s organised, enjoys keeping things running smoothly and doesn’t mind getting stuck in when something needs sorting. You’ll work with a range of teams across the business, so no two days will necessarily look the same.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Processing and coordinating daily purchase orders, shipments and deliveries, making sure everything is accurate and on time.
  • Keeping our supply chain records up to date, including stock levels, supplier details and procurement information.
  • Working closely with suppliers, couriers, warehouse teams and colleagues across the business to track orders and resolve any issues.
  • Monitoring stock movements and investigating any discrepancies to help keep our inventory accurate.
  • Supporting with supply chain and logistics reports, using data to help the team understand what’s happening and where we can improve.
  • Getting involved in process improvements and looking for ways we can make things simpler, quicker and more efficient.
  • Making sure supply chain activity follows our company processes, health and safety requirements and relevant regulations.
  • Providing general admin support to the Supply Chain and Warehouse teams, including data entry and keeping documentation organised.

What we’re looking for:

You don’t need to know everything about supply chain from day one. We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and keen to learn. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement or a similar administration role.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle different priorities and deadlines.
  • Great communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Good attention to detail – especially when it comes to data, orders and documentation.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
  • A good head for numbers and an analytical approach when looking into stock or supply chain issues.
  • A team-focused attitude and the ability to work with different teams across the business.
  • A flexible, positive approach and a willingness to get stuck in and support the team when things change.

You’ll be someone who:

  • Is reliable, proactive and doesn't wait to be asked to get things moving.
  • Enjoys finding better ways of doing things and isn't afraid to suggest an improvement.
  • Is comfortable learning new systems, processes and ways of working.
  • Treats people with respect and enjoys being part of a team where everyone can be themselves.
  • Understands the importance of handling company and supplier information professionally and with integrity.

Why Bensons?

We’re a business that’s all about helping people get a better night’s sleep – and that starts with having the right people behind the scenes. You’ll be joining a friendly, collaborative team where your work will make a real difference to how smoothly our supply chain runs. Whether you’re already working in supply chain or you’re looking for your next step, we’ll give you the opportunity to learn, get involved and make your mark.

The cool side of the pillow (our benefits):

  • Up to 50% discount for all Bensons colleagues
  • Health and Wellbeing: Medicash - cashback options for Health and Wellbeing services, Access to Retail Trust services (guidance and support on retail issues, mental health, wellbeing & financial topics)
  • Financial: Group Income Protection - for peace of mind if you’re off work long term due to illness, Pension scheme – provided by Legal & General
  • Leave: Annual leave buy & sell scheme – you can top up your holiday entitlement or sell unused days to suit you, Enhanced maternity and adoption leave
  • Your Career: Learning and development programmes to expand your knowledge and skills, access to internal opportunities to progress your career at Bensons for Beds
  • Group Life Assurance - 2x annual salary
  • Annual leave: 31 days in year 1, rising each year of service

If you’re organised, switched-on and love keeping things running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you!
