We are seeking an experienced and motivated Infrastructure and Network Manager to lead the management, security, and continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure and network services. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team and play a key role in ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing technology across the organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing and maintaining the organisation’s IT infrastructure, networks, servers, systems, and cloud services.
  • Leading the design, implementation, and support of secure and resilient network solutions.
  • Monitoring infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and security to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Managing network technologies including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPNs, switching, and routing.
  • Overseeing infrastructure upgrades, system improvements, installations, and technology change programmes.
  • Developing and maintaining IT infrastructure, network, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
  • Managing suppliers, technology partners, service agreements, and infrastructure-related budgets.
  • Ensuring systems and networks comply with information security policies, data protection requirements, and industry best practice.
  • Leading the investigation and resolution of complex infrastructure and network incidents.
  • Maintaining accurate technical documentation, asset records, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Providing technical leadership, guidance, and support to IT colleagues and wider teams.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of IT policies, standards, and service improvement plans.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, networks, and technical services in a complex organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of network architecture, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
  • Experience with server technologies, virtualisation, cloud platforms, backup solutions, and monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure security, vulnerability management, access controls, and cyber security principles.
  • Experience managing technical projects, suppliers, budgets, and service delivery.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, manage competing deadlines, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certifications, such as Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, or equivalent experience, are desirable.

Working Hours and Location:
