Architect / Landscape Architect

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Landscape Architect (Senior to Director level) to join a highly regarded consultancy with a reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative planning solutions. With a diverse project portfolio including renewable energy (wind, solar, BESS, hydrogen), grid, and property, this role is ideal for an ambitious candidate seeking to advance their career within a supportive and collaborative environment. Our client offer flexible working options, including hybrid or remote set ups, with access to a network of offices across Scotland and the North of England Conduct landscape and visual assessments, feasibility studies, and screening/scoping studies for a host of proposals, including renewable energy (wind, solar, BESS), grid infrastructure, road/rail, water, and property. Prepare detailed assessments for landscape, townscape, and seascape character and visual effects, including contributions to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports. Design and implement mitigation and enhancement schemes to align with project goals and environmental standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results within deadlines and budgets. Lead multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects, mentor junior team members, and ensure the highest quality standards. Drive innovation and technical excellence across the landscape planning discipline. Experience in landscape planning and LVIA, ideally within renewables, grid connection, or infrastructure projects. Excellent report writing and communication skills. A relevant degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline. Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI). Postgraduate or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
