Twilight Kitchen Assistant

The Role

At Asmall Hall, we are searching for a new Twilight Kitchen Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for the kitchen clean up after a busy day, making sure food is prepped for our chef team the next morning and assisting care staff to make food/drinks for our residents throughout the evening.

In this role you will be:

1. Adhering to the HACCP procedure according to our Food Safety Management Documentation
2. Maintaining kitchen hygiene and support throughout the evening
3. Actively participating in discussions with the kitchen team to improve the service
4. Understanding the function of mandatory paperwork and recording food, freezer & fridge temperatures
5. Ensuring that the crockery and cutlery are cleaned as per Infection Control Guidelines
6. Supporting the care staff in providing refreshments to both residents’ families and professionals during the evening
