We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Strategist (Branded Environments) with a proven track record in designing for the built environment across various project scales and sectors. This role focuses on Wayfinding, Placemaking, and Brand, and requires a deep interest in human movement and interaction with our surroundings.
Responsibilities:
- Work as a senior member of our interdisciplinary team, specializing in managing strategy development for wayfinding projects.
- Create and deliver optimal strategy solutions for all wayfinding projects under the guidance of the Associate Director.
- Manage project delivery from design concepts to final design, including overseeing day-to-day project activities, project planning, resourcing, and reporting.
- Conduct on-site reviews and audits of existing signage systems and environments, analyse movement patterns, and define wayfinding strategies for each project.
- Build and maintain client relationships, manage expectations, and present project updates both internally and externally.
- Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure full integration of work.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience managing all stages of the wayfinding strategy development process.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide junior colleagues.
- In-depth knowledge of Accessibility and Legibility guidelines and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas effectively.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and design management tools.
- Experience interpreting architectural drawings and 3D product design drawings.
- Ability to plan and execute client and stakeholder workshops as part of the wayfinding and placemaking strategy process.
