We work with high‐quality clients and professional introducers and are continuing to grow through strategic corporate partnerships. The business has grown rapidly over the last 18 months with further plans to expand considerably in the coming years. This role is a key hire to aid calculated growth focused on business development and revenue growth.
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the growth of Bennison Brown through new business‐to‐business relationships. This is a sales and relationship‐led role, suited to someone who thrives on networking, opening doors, and building long‐term commercial partnerships. You will represent Bennison Brown externally, attending events, meetings, and industry functions to generate high‐quality corporate and professional introducer relationships. While the role offers remote working flexibility, it requires regular travel and occasional out‐of‐hours work to attend events and networking opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, target, and establish new corporate partnerships and introducer relationships.
- Develop relationships with professional firms, corporate organisations, and affinity partners.
- Present Bennison Brown's proposition confidently and professionally to senior stakeholders.
- Negotiate and agree partnership terms and ongoing referral arrangements.
- Attend events, networking functions, conferences, and partner meetings.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Bennison Brown in professional and corporate environments.
- Build a strong personal and professional network aligned with our target market.
- Manage and grow existing corporate partnerships to maximise referral flow.
- Work closely with internal advisers to ensure partners receive excellent service.
- Track partnership performance and identify opportunities for further growth.
- Willingness to attend events outside standard office hours where required.
- Travel across London, the South East and the South West (with occasional wider UK travel).
This role would suit someone who:
- Has proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships.
- Is confident networking and building relationships face‐to‐face.
- Is commercially minded and motivated by results and commission.
- Is professional, articulate, and credible with senior stakeholders.
- Enjoys autonomy and taking ownership of revenue‐generating activity.
- Experience in financial services, property, professional services, or corporate sales is advantageous but not essential.
