Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union is seeking Athletic Coaches to lead our middle school sports teams for the 2025/2026 school year! Opportunities are available in the fall, winter, and spring seasons at Flood Brook School, Manchester Elementary Middle School, and The Dorset School. This is a great opportunity to work with our student athletes across all abilities and experience levels.

  • Supervise practices and games for athletes of various abilities and experience levels.
  • Teach the fundamentals of your sport.
  • Communicate with school personnel and parents/guardians.
  • Bus travel to away games is required.
  • Coaching schedule and location will vary by sport.
  • Other responsibilities as required to complete the job.

Position reports to the applicable school's Athletic Director and is supervised by the Principal. BRSU is a Professional Learning Community which demonstrates best practice in teaching and is committed to high levels of achievement and success for all students. Pay Rate: £900 - £2,200 per season; based on length of season, hours required, and coaching capacity (i.e., Head vs. Assistant Coach).
