Working Hours:

42.5 hr per week Monday to Friday 8;00am –17:00pm hours per week. 30 minutes lunch. You are also so required to work such additional hours as may be necessary for the proper performance of your duties or that may be required to fulfil role.

Job Role/Description

Bennie Equipment’s West Division is recruiting for an experienced, passionate, and well organised Parts Controller to assist the Service Controller as part of a team, in sourcing and managing required parts for Bennie in Material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will have worked previously in a similar role with proven organisational skills in a fast-paced environment, to support the Service and Sales teams in meeting customer expectations and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the ordering, receiving and distribution of forklift spare parts.
• Identifyand source parts for different forklift makes and models.
• Process parts enquiries from customers, serviceengineersand internal teams.
• Prepare quotations and process sales orders andpurchaseorders
• Maintainaccuratestock records and carry out regular stock checks.
• Monitor stock levels and place replenishment orders whenrequired.
• Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and parts distributorsregardingavailability,pricingand delivery times.
• Arrange urgent parts deliveries to engineers and customers.
• Track backorders and keep customers and engineers updated.
• Manage returns, warrantypartsand incorrect/damaged deliveries.
• Update parts and stock information on Protean, the company’s computer system.
• Helpmaintainan organised and efficient parts warehouse.
• Work closely with the service and workshop teams to minimise forklift downtime.
• Ensure invoices, delivery notes and purchase documentation areaccurate.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve parts-related queries.

• Previousexperience in forklift, plant, automotive,agriculturalor industrial parts isadvantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a service/parts team.
• Good negotiation and supplier-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise urgent requirements.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and stock/ERP systems.
• Strong communicationand customer-service skills.
• Good knowledge of spare parts and part-number identification.
• Full UK driving licence may be required depending on the role.
