Bennetts Haulage Ltd offers a salary of £38,000 - £42,000 basic plus plenty of overtime for a permanent part-time or full-time position. Immediate start available.

We are a family-run haulier based in Twyford, near Reading, with a modern, well-kept fleet. Our trucks have delivered to various locations including London building sites, Buckingham Palace, and Downing Street. We are looking for another Class 2 driver to assist with deliveries of building materials, palletised goods, scaffolding, and steel from our Twyford depot to sites across London and the South of England.

  • Day work, home every night, with occasional paid UK night outs when necessary.
  • Mostly Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts, with overtime available for those who want it.
  • Requirements: Class 2 (C) licence, valid Driver CPC, and a digital tachograph card.
  • A Hiab or Moffett ticket is ideal and will be compensated accordingly; FORS training is a significant advantage.
  • Applicants should live within about 45 minutes of our Twyford depot (RG10) to avoid long commutes.

The salary of £38,000 - £42,000 is competitive for Class 2 work, with ample overtime opportunities.

We offer genuine progression opportunities; many of our Class 1 drivers started in this role. We regularly provide Class 2 drivers with training for their Class 1, as well as Hiab, Moffett, and lorry-loader tickets.

Paid training is kept current, including ALLMI Hiab, Moffett, FORS, and Driver CPC.

We maintain a modern, well-maintained fleet and take care of our trucks as we do our drivers.
