We are a family-run haulier working out of Twyford, near Reading, since the 1950s, with a modern, well-kept fleet. Our trucks have delivered everywhere from London building sites to Buckingham Palace and Downing Street, and we are looking for another Class 2 driver to help us do it.

Responsibilities include:

  • Transporting building materials, palletised goods, scaffolding, and steel from our Twyford depot to sites across London and the South of England.
  • Day work with home every night, bar the occasional paid UK night out when the job requires it.
  • Mostly Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts, with overtime available for those who want it.

Requirements:

  • Class 2 (C) licence, valid Driver CPC, and a digital tachograph card.
  • A Hiab or Moffett ticket is ideal and will be paid accordingly; FORS training is a huge plus.
  • Must live within about 45 minutes of our Twyford depot (RG10) to avoid long commutes.

We offer:

  • A competitive salary depending on experience, top of the local market for Class 2 work, plus plenty of overtime.
  • Genuine progression opportunities; this is the seat our Class 1 drivers started in. We regularly put Class 2 drivers through their Class 1, as well as Hiab, Moffett, and lorry-loader tickets.
  • Paid training kept current: ALLMI Hiab, Moffett, FORS, Driver CPC.
  • A modern, well-maintained fleet; we look after our trucks like we look after our drivers.
  • 28 days' holiday (including bank holidays), workplace pension, full PPE, and free on-site parking.
