Bennetts Haulage Ltd offers a basic salary of £38,000 to £42,000 plus plenty of overtime for a permanent full-time or part-time position with immediate start available.
We are a family-run haulier based in Twyford, near Reading, since the 1950s, with a modern, well-kept fleet. Our trucks have delivered everywhere from London building sites to Buckingham Palace and Downing Street, and we are looking for another Class 2 driver to help us do it.
The role involves transporting building materials, palletised goods, scaffolding, and steel from our Twyford depot to sites across London and the South of England.
- Day work, home every night, with occasional paid UK night outs when necessary.
- Mostly Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts, with overtime available for those who want it.
- Class 2 (C) licence, valid Driver CPC, and a digital tachograph card required.
- A Hiab or Moffett ticket is ideal, and paid accordingly; FORS training is a huge plus.
- Must live within about 45 minutes of our Twyford depot (RG10) to avoid long commutes.
- Genuine progression opportunities: Class 2 drivers can progress to Class 1, and receive training for Hiab, Moffett, and lorry-loader tickets.
- Paid training kept current: ALLMI Hiab, Moffett, FORS, Driver CPC.
- A modern, well-maintained fleet; we take care of our trucks as we do our drivers.
