Bennetts Haulage Ltd offers a salary of £38,000 - £42,000 basic plus plenty of overtime. This is a permanent position available for full-time or part-time work with an immediate start.
We are a family-run haulier based in Twyford, near Reading, since the 1950s, operating a modern and well-kept fleet. Our trucks have delivered to various locations including London building sites, Buckingham Palace, and Downing Street. We are looking for another Class 2 driver to join our team.
The work:
- Transporting building materials, palletised goods, scaffolding, and steel from our Twyford depot to sites across London and the South of England.
- Driving rigids up to 32 tonnes, flatbed and curtainside, with Hiab and Moffett offloads on site for those with the right tickets.
- Proper professional haulage with no multi-drop.
- Day work, home every night, with occasional paid UK night outs when necessary.
- Mostly Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts, with overtime available for those who want it.
What you'll need:
- Class 2 (C) licence, valid Driver CPC, and a digital tachograph card.
- A Hiab or Moffett ticket is ideal, and paid accordingly; FORS training is a huge plus.
- Holding a C+E licence or having wagon & drag experience is even better, with additional pay and opportunities for drawbar and artic work.
- Living within about 45 minutes of our Twyford depot (RG10) to avoid long commutes.
- Being comfortable in and around London, and being reliable, professional, and polite as you represent Bennetts on every site.

- £38,000 - £42,000 basic depending on experience, which is at the top of the local market for Class 2 work, plus plenty of overtime.
