As a Branch Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our branch in Cannock, including managing staff, achieving sales targets, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in automotive parts or aftersales, excellent leadership skills, and a commercial mindset.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am – 5.30pm and alternate Saturdays’ 8.30am – 1pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all branch operations, including sales, customer service, warehouse and logistics
  • Drive branch performance to meet or exceed sales, profit and service targets
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade and retail customers
  • Oversee stock control, purchasing and inventory accuracy
  • Manage, motivate and develop a team of staff including sales advisors, warehouse operatives and drivers
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and deal with escalated queries or complaints professionally
  • Monitor and analyse branch KPIs, reporting performance to senior management
  • Ensure all operational and health & safety procedures are followed
  • Support marketing and local business development activities
  • Recruit, train, and retain high‑performing staff

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a management or supervisory role in the motor trade
  • Strong understanding of automotive parts, operations or aftersales
  • Excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills
  • Commercial acumen and a results-driven approach
  • Good organisational and time-management abilities
  • Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
  • IT literate, with experience using stock and sales systems
