We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to join our clients team. Some duties will include:
- Install, commission and maintain refrigeration and cooling systems, with a focus on hydrocarbon refrigerants.
- Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations related to hydrocarbon refrigerants and equipment operation.
- Maintain accurate service records and report system status to management.
- Collaborate effectively with clients and team members to provide timely refrigeration support.
Successful candidate will have similar previous experience and have City and Guilds qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, plus City and Guilds 2078 qualification in handling hydrocarbon refrigerants.
This is a full time role Monday to Friday, plus on-call one weekend every three on a rota basis. Overtime to be paid at 1.5 times hourly rate Monday to Saturday, and 2 times hourly rate Sundays and Bank Holidays. Salary £38,000 to £43,000 for 40 hours per week plus overtime. 20 days holidays plus stats. Van and Fuel Card, Phone provided.
