About the Role
Bennett Hay is looking for a polished, professional and personable Corporate Receptionist to join our team supporting a prestigious corporate client in central London. You will be responsible for delivering a world-class guest experience across the client’s workplace, creating a warm and memorable first impression for every visitor and providing consistently high standards of service to employees and guests. As a key point of contact for the client, you will build positive relationships at all levels, anticipate guest needs and approach every request with a genuine can-do attitude. Professionalism, discretion and attention to detail are essential, particularly when working within a sensitive corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional and personalised welcome to all guests, visitors and employees.
- Create a memorable first impression and ensure every interaction reflects Bennett Hay’s high guest service standards.
- Welcome and engage with guests in a warm, professional and confident manner, including remembering and using guests’ names wherever possible.
- Act as a key point of contact for employees and visitors, building positive working relationships at all levels.
- Respond positively to guest requests, using initiative and problem-solving skills to exceed expectations.
- Manage the room booking system, including room bookings and the coordination of hospitality requirements.
- Operate the main switchboard, answering calls promptly and professionally and redirecting enquiries appropriately.
- Manage the visitor management system, including signing visitors into the building and issuing passes where required.
- Monitor visitor and employee access procedures and ensure staff sign in when security passes have been forgotten.
- Maintain a consistently high standard of presentation across all reception areas.
- Carry out daytime checks and report any housekeeping or facilities issues promptly.
- Work collaboratively with cleaning, security, property management, events and other operational teams.
- Support colleagues with additional duties as required and contribute positively to the wider team.
- Maintain professionalism, discretion and confidentiality at all times.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a warm, professional and confident approach.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to delivering a high-quality visitor experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence using reception, visitor management, calendar and other relevant systems.
- Professional presentation and a genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cleaning, security, property management and events teams.
- Flexibility and willingness to support events and operational requirements when required.
- Good knowledge of health and safety procedures within a corporate, hospitality or front-of-house environment.
- A positive, helpful and genuine can-do attitude.
