Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Days: Monday – Friday

Shift Pattern: 07:30 – 16:00

Holiday Entitlement: Supervisors/Sous Chefs – 23 days plus Bank Holidays

About the Role

Bennett Hay are looking for a passionate and talented Corporate Chef de Partie to join our professional catering team at a prestigious corporate site near Marylebone. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys working in a structured Monday-to-Friday environment while maintaining high culinary standards within a corporate hospitality setting.

As Chef de Partie, you will take ownership of your designated kitchen section, ensuring dishes are prepared, cooked, and presented to exceptional standards. You will work closely with the wider kitchen brigade to deliver a smooth and efficient food service while maintaining excellent hygiene, organisation, and food safety practices at all times.

This role would suit an experienced Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for a designated kitchen section such as grill, pastry, sauces, or garde manger
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and company standards
  • Ensure timely delivery of dishes during service periods
  • Maintain consistently high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Monitor portion control and minimise food waste
  • Support daily mise en place and kitchen preparation
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workstation
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
  • Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen colleagues to ensure smooth operations
  • Support and guide junior chefs and commis chefs where required
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and ingredient storage
  • Ensure correct food labelling and stock rotation procedures (FIFO) are followed
