Shift Pattern: This role follows an alternating weekly rota:
- Week A: 8-hour shifts (Mon–Fri)
- Week B: 10-hour shifts (Mon–Thu)
Holiday Entitlement: 20 days pro rata (holiday year April – March)
About the Role: We are looking for a hands‑on Hospitality Supervisor (Hospitality Team Leader) to join a professional contract catering environment in the City. You’ll lead a small hospitality team and take pride in delivering a consistently high standard of food and service. This is a client‑facing role where attention to detail, strong communication, and a warm, welcoming approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, organise and motivate a small hospitality team to deliver exceptional service
- Maintain high standards of presentation, set‑up and service across daily hospitality and events
- Ensure a friendly, professional, and reliable experience for customers and colleagues
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders and support smooth day‑to‑day operations
- Follow Bennett Hay statutory health, hygiene and safety, and quality standards at all times
- Ensure compliance with COSHH and HACCP requirements and safe working practices
- Act as a role model on standards, service behaviour, and team engagement
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous hospitality experience (contract catering hospitality experience is beneficial)
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for food and service
- Confident communicator with the ability to coordinate and lead a small team
- High level of spoken English
- Excellent eye for detail and high personal standards
- Friendly, welcoming, dependable and professional attitude
