Salary: Up to £16.50 per hour

Contract Type: Full-time

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Days: Monday – Friday

Shift Pattern: Between 7:00am and 6:00pm

Holiday Entitlement: 23 days plus Bank Holidays

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Corporate Barista Supervisor to lead a busy coffee bar within a prestigious corporate environment near Liverpool Street. This is an exciting opportunity for a coffee professional who combines exceptional barista skills with strong leadership qualities. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding specialty coffee, creating memorable guest experiences, and leading a small team to consistently achieve the highest standards of service and product quality. Working within a professional corporate setting, you will play a key role in the daily operation of the coffee bar, ensuring every guest receives warm, friendly, and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve consistently exceptional specialty coffee, including espresso-based drinks, batch brew coffee, and latte art.
  • Dial in grinders daily and maintain coffee quality standards throughout service.
  • Lead, train, coach, audit and support a small team of baristas.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and build positive relationships with guests and clients.
  • Develop seasonal beverage menus, recipes and coffee innovations.
  • Manage stock levels, ordering processes and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and operating effectively.
  • Oversee cleanliness, food safety standards and daily operational procedures.
  • Work closely with roasters and suppliers to source and showcase exceptional coffee.
  • Support a positive team culture and lead by example during busy service periods.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years’ experience within a specialty coffee environment.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee production, brewing methods and specialty coffee standards.
  • Excellent latte art and espresso preparation skills.
  • A confident communicator with a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • A hands‑on leader with a people‑first approach.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Coffee qualifications or certifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
  • An interest in food and wider hospitality trends is a bonus.
