About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and people-focused Community Manager to join our team at a prestigious corporate workplace in the heart of London. This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for creating an exceptional workplace experience for customers, visitors and colleagues. Working closely with the Senior Community Manager, client teams and service partners, you will ensure the workplace runs smoothly while delivering outstanding hospitality and customer service every day. You’ll build meaningful relationships with customers, proactively engage with occupiers across the building, coordinate events, maintain communal spaces and meeting rooms, and ensure every interaction leaves a lasting positive impression. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a consistently outstanding customer experience that exceeds expectations.
- Create memorable first impressions and build strong relationships with customers and visitors.
- Learn and use customers’ names to provide a personalised service.
- Work closely with colleagues and service partners to deliver a seamless workplace experience.
- Monitor the daily performance of on-site service partners, escalating any service concerns where appropriate.
- Maintain professionalism, discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Respond positively to customer requests, using initiative and problem-solving skills to find solutions.
- Carry out regular floor walks to proactively identify issues.
- Log and monitor requests through the helpdesk system, ensuring customers receive regular updates until completion.
- Visit customer companies regularly, gather feedback and build strong working relationships.
- Support onboarding and offboarding of customers within the building.
- Ensure meeting rooms, phone booths and communal spaces remain clean, presentable and fully operational.
- Manage and replenish coffee points, ensuring supplies are fully stocked throughout the day.
- Maintain presentation standards across hospitality areas and promptly deal with spillages and general housekeeping requirements.
- Support the delivery of workplace events, activations and community initiatives.
- Assist the Senior Community Manager in developing innovative customer service initiatives.
- Promote a collaborative one-team culture with colleagues, clients and service partners.
- Provide cover for colleagues when required, including café support during breaks.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years’ experience in hospitality, workplace experience, customer service or a similar role.
- Previous experience within a corporate environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Experience coordinating small events and workplace activities.
- Ability to balance operational processes with genuine community engagement.
- A people-first approach with strong organisational skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive, positive attitude.
- Confident working independently while also collaborating within a team.
- Comfortable taking direction and leading when required.
- Experience using workplace management or Visitor Management Systems (VMS).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
