About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Café Supervisor to lead the front-of-house team at one of our prestigious London locations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced café environment, enjoys leading a team, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. As a Café Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensure smooth service delivery, and act as a key link between the front-of-house and kitchen teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the café’s front-of-house service team
- Oversee service setup and close-down procedures
- Liaise with the kitchen regarding food requirements and service coordination
- Lead and motivate colleagues throughout service, setting a positive example
- Maintain high levels of customer care and respond positively to guest requests
- Promote and apply upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities
- Manage daily food and non-food ordering procedures and maintain stock levels
- Operate tills, process payments, and handle customer transactions accurately
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in all service areas before, during, and after shifts
- Maintain professional displays, counters, and seating areas
- Assist with weekly rota planning for front-of-house staff
- Comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and food safety standards
What We’re Looking For
Experience:2–4 years in a similar role, preferably within a café or hospitality environment
