We're working with a well-established logistics and warehousing operation seeking a hands-on Fleet Compliance Manager to take ownership of fleet, safety and compliance across a fast-paced environment. You will act as the named Transport Manager, ensuring full compliance with Operator Licence undertakings and DVSA requirements, while overseeing fleet compliance and supporting Health & Safety across transport and warehouse operations.
Job Overview
- Fleet & Transport Compliance
- Act as named Transport Manager, ensuring full DVSA and Operator Licence compliance
- Oversee fleet maintenance, roadworthiness, PMI schedules and defect management
- Monitor OCRS, MOT performance and driver/tachograph compliance
- Manage fleet systems (e.g. TruTac, Microlise) and control fleet costs
- Respond to out-of-hours fleet issues when required
- Maintain H&S systems across transport and warehouse operations
- Ensure compliance with key legislation (HASAWA, RIDDOR, PUWER, LOLER, COSHH)
- Lead incident investigations and corrective actions
- Maintain RAMS, SOPs and safety documentation
