Graduate Technical Sales Engineer - Ground Engineering
Location: Northwest
Salary: up to £40,000, Commission and Company Car

Graduate Technical Sales Engineer required to join a leading international Ground Engineering organisation offering a range of unique products for solutions on critical infrastructure and residential property's across the UK. The Technical Sales Engineer will facilitate the delivery of specialist Geotechnical services to address ground movement and subsidence quickly, safely and with minimal disruption.

The Graduate Technical Sales Engineer will be from Civil or Geotechnical Engineering background and ideally have sales experience or a drive and ambition to drive a company forward. This is a full time, permanent position, for an Engineer who enjoys relationship building with a drive to push the business forward in the company within a thriving market.

Graduate Technical Sales Engineer Position Remuneration

  • £35,000 - £40,000 base salary per year DOE
  • 2% commission

Graduate Technical Sales Engineer Position Overview

  • Acting upon warm inbound leads generated by the website
  • Using exciting contacts to generate new leads and new sales within the infrastructure sector.
  • CRM and lead generation software
  • Pre-qualifying the inbound leads, arranging site visits, producing quotes based on clients' requirements
  • Following up to close the sale.
  • This is a sales role, but it won't be a hard sell, on a construction site in a suit and tie, more of an opportunity to provide solutions for client's problems, building rapport and building relationships across the area.
  • Building relationships with various clients and potential clients.
  • Create a targeted process to generate new sales
  • Work towards working with local authority contracts and large frameworks

Graduate Technical Sales Engineer Position Requirements

  • Degree within Civil Engineering or similar discipline
  • Good knowledge of the Ground Engineering sector
  • Commercial understanding
  • Knowledge and experience in design of subsidence and sub structures would be advantageous
  • Technical knowledge covering buildings, construction and various ground conditions such as construction stabilisation, pilling, sinking floors, foundation problems and void filling.
  • Prior face to face B2C and B2B sales experience is advantageous.
  • Proactive individual that wants to get out and get the big contracts that take time
  • UK Driving licence
