Location: Bishops Stortford Welder / Pipe Fitter required for a well-established manufacturer based in Bishops Stortford.
The succesful candidate will be responsible for the fabnrication and assembly of process pipework and skid assemblies.
Welder / Pipe Fitter Position Overview Stainless Steel manual and orbital TIG welding of process pipework for the pharmaceutical industry.
Weld materials in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions.
Fabrication and assembly of process pipework and associated components (i. e. valves, pumps, heat exchangers, etc.) Writing and maintaining weld logs.
Fabrication and welding of stainless steel framework and brackets.
Cutting, grinding, drilling of stainless steel components.
Review process diagrams.
Read / interpret production drawings in order to lay out a welding project, fabricate and weld.
