Bennett and Game are currently working with a global leader in the design and manufacturing industries looking to hire their next Jr Business Development Manager offering an OTE of circa £50k alongside excellent progression into Business Development & Sales Management roles.

The role will be based out of their Surrey/Woking office and will initially be fully onsite. You will be joining and learning from a close-knit team of 80 skilled professionals, with the support and backing of a global organisation with offices across Europe, America, and Asia.

Job Overview

  • Respond to inbound sales inquiries and provide technical product guidance to customers.
  • Support the head of sales to generate leads through research and proactive outreach.
  • Support global sales teams as required.
  • Prepare and issue quotations and proposals, ensuring accurate pricing and product details.
  • Track and manage customer communications, opportunities and sales pipeline through CRM software.
  • Use advanced Excel skills to create and maintain sales spreadsheets, analyse data, and generate reports.
  • Support marketing activities, including assisting in the creation of sales presentations and marketing collateral, and assisting with trade show preparations and event logistics.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in internal/external sales, technical sales, or industrial equipment sales.
  • A background in engineering, physics, industrial or a related field is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in supporting marketing initiatives, such as the production of marketing assets and literature, trade shows, promotional campaigns.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary & Benefits

  • Basic salary circa £35-40k DOE
  • Bonus/Commission on top of salary circa £10k
  • Monday - Friday (8-4 / 9-5) Flexible to suit candidate
