Job Description
Stores Person required for my client within the oilfield equipment manufacturer industry, based in Aberdeen.
The successful Stores Person will join a present department and assist in all production duties, within the business.
Stores Person Position Overview
- Prepare receipt notes for all items delivered against P.O.'s and ensure copies are distributed per procedures.
- Prepare receipt notes for all C.S.M. delivered to the company and ensure copies are distributed per procedures.
- Unpack all items received, check quantities against shipping documents and carry out visual inspection.
- Prepare delivery tickets for all items being shipped per Customer/Vendor Order Movement Form
- Pack and prepare all items for shipping per COMF / verbal or route sheet instructions.
- Maintain computer records for all stock items detailing locations in store as required
- Carry out routine inspections of stock items, ensure adequate protection is maintained.
- Ensure good housekeeping is maintained in stores and stores office.
Stores Person Position Requirements
- Experience working within a Stores Person / similar production / manufacturing role.
- Previous experience in an oil related company would be very beneficial.
- Computer literate.
- Based within a commutable distance of Aberdeen.
- Full UK driving licence is beneficial.
Stores Person Position Remuneration
- Salary £14.94 – £16.00 per hour – dependent upon experience.
- 40 hours a week – 08:00 – 16:30 with 30 minute unpaid lunch.
- Holiday package – 30 days (inclusive of 10 public holidays).
- Company pension scheme – 5% by employee & 3% by employer.
- Other company benefits.
