Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well–established manufacturer of bespoke material handling machinery based in the Skelmersdale area, who are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Design and development of new and existing products.
- Understanding and interpreting customer requirements.
- Creating and developing 3D modelling drawings with the use of Solidworks for manufacturing & fabrication drawings.
- Producing FEA & hand calculations for projects.
- Creating BoM's and other technical documents.
Requirements
- Proficient in the use of Solidworks.
- 3+ years of Mechanical Design experience with machinery design.
- Strong communication skills.
- Based in a commutable distance of Skelmersdale.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary GBP40,000 – GBP45,000, depending on experience.
- Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30. Friday 08:00 – 15:30.
- Permanent position.
- 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
