Job Description
We are currently representing a well-established, RIBA Chartered Architectural Practice based near Peterborough, actively seeking a Senior Project Architect to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Director in a senior role, taking a hands-on approach to design and project delivery across a variety of bespoke schemes.
This practice is known for delivering high quality, context-sensitive architecture, particularly within rural and edge-of-settlement settings. Their portfolio includes one-off private homes, sensitive residential developments, and mixed-use projects. They are seeking a Senior Project Architect with proven experience in similar sectors and a passion for carefully crafted, sustainable architecture. The successful candidate will lead projects from inception to completion and provide mentorship to junior colleagues.

Senior Project Architect Job Overview
- Work on a range of bespoke Residential and Mixed-Use developments
- Project Lead throughout all RIBA Stages

Senior Project Architect Job Requirements
- Based in or near the Peterborough area
- Professional experience within bespoke residential and mixed-use developments
- A strong interest in sustainable, contextual architecture and placemaking
- Excellent understanding of UK planning policy and Building Regulations
- Proven ability to manage and deliver projects through all RIBA stages
- Confident coordinating small project teams and mentoring colleagues
- Strong technical and design skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Vectorworks (highly desirable)
- Skilled in SketchUp, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite
- ARB / RIBA registered with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience
Senior Project Architect Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (Dependant On Experience)
