A long-established and respected UK-based engineering business is expanding its team due to continued growth and increasing demand. Specializing in bespoke automation, robotics integration, and special purpose machinery, this company is seeking a Robotics Controls Engineer who is hands-on, proactive, and aligned with a high-integrity, high-commitment team culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and programming PLC, HMI/touchscreen, network and SCADA systems from scratch
  • Designing, programming and integrating industrial robotic solutions (FANUC ideally but not essential)
  • Work collaboratively on bespoke automation and robotic integration projects
  • Developing control architectures and functional solutions in collaboration with mechanical and electrical design teams
  • Perform in-house build and test activities, with periodic travel for commissioning and support (UK North America)
  • Engage fully in a supportive, high-functioning team environment with a strong "make it happen" mindset
