Our client is a popular accountancy group who are recruiting for their Preston office on a full time, permanent basis. This is an ideal opportunity for an ACCA/ACA finalist or ACA/ACCA qualified Accountant to join a busy and dynamic office within a reputable firm offering a great work life balance and remuneration package!
As a Senior Accountant, you'll take ownership of managing client portfolios, which is a mixture of small to medium-sized businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Your daily role will include:
- Supervising junior staff, reviewing their work and making any necessary adjustments
- Providing strategic financial advice to your dedicated portfolio
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements to the highest standards
- Preparing self-assessment tax returns
- Advising and assisting clients with cloud based bookkeeping software
- Mentoring and developing junior members of staff
Job Requirements:
- ACA / ACCA finalist or qualified
- 5 years + experience in a UK accountancy firm
- Proven expertise in accounting, tax, and financial reporting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in cloud based accounting software
