CNC Programmer required to join a well-established Manufacturer based in the Redditch area. The successful candidate will be assisting with setting, operating and programming of CNC lathes and mills, whilst ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have experience on Hurco Lathe and Hurco Max.
CNC Programmer Job Overview- Set up, operate and programme CNC Lathes and Milling machines (Hurco).
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Select and install appropriate tooling for each job, considering material specifications and machining requirements.
- Develop and modify CNC programs as needed to optimise machining processes.
- Conduct in-process inspections to ensure the dimensional accuracy and quality of machined parts.
- Continuously monitor and optimize machining processes for efficiency and productivity.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Programming, setting and operating experience is highly advantageous (however they are willing to train someone that has some machining/turning experience and is willing to learn).
- Hurco controls/machinery experience is also highly advantageous.
- Must live within a commutable distance of Redditch.
- Full time - Permanent position £15 - £19 per hour - depending on experience (£32-42k annual).
- Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00pm, Friday 07:00 to 13:00.
- Holiday allowance & pension.
