Bennett and Game are currently partnering with a specialist Precision Engineering company who are actively seeking a skilled CNC Router / Sheet Metal Worker to join their expanding team. Our client specialises in supplying Aerospace & Defence industries with specialist and bespoke products and is looking to strengthen their team with a proven CNC Operator.
CNC Operator Position Overview:
- Join a close-knit CNC team to cover Routing and Sheetmetal work.
- Set up and operate CNC router machines to cut, drill, and shape materials accurately.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and job specifications before production.
- Load or adjust machine programs (such as G-code) and select the correct tools and cutting paths.
CNC Operator Position Requirements:
- Previous CNC Routing experience.
- Sheetmetal work experience.
- XYZ Machine knowledge is desirable.
- Experience dealing with Wood, Plastic and Metal materials.
CNC Operator Salary & Package:
- ~£18 per hour + time & half overtime rates (£34.2k annual basic).
- ~ Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 16:45.
- ~25 days holiday + bank holidays.
- ~ Parking on site.
