Renowned for delivering high-quality, flexible, and efficient services, our client is now seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to join their team at their head office in Glasgow.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and experienced professional to take ownership of the company's Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental management functions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational standards.
The Role - QHSE Manager
A key leadership role with responsibility for ensuring the company's operations remain compliant with all relevant standards and regulations, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015. Based at the Glasgow head office, this role would suit a hands-on QHSE Manager with a collaborative, improvement-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO standards
- Lead and manage internal audits, non-conformance investigations, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Conduct and oversee risk assessments, supporting ongoing risk management initiatives
- Manage supplier approvals and carry out supplier audits
- Ensure all company certifications are maintained, with up-to-date documentation
- Redesign and implement more effective quality and compliance systems where required
- Provide guidance and updates on regulations and standards relevant to company operations
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure transparency and compliance
- Lead and develop the QA team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Degree or HNC in Quality, Engineering, or a related scientific/technical discipline
- Completion of a recognised Quality System Auditing course
- Significant knowledge and experience with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015
- Demonstrated experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably within the construction or industrial services sector
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory capacity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, results-driven approach
